Countryside Pet Resort was recently awarded (May '24) "Top Local Workplace Award" by Homebase -- a software company who helps businesses with all things employee-related (they have 100,000+ clients). The award is for: "Celebrating small businesses that create a great environment for employees." They started researching how local-based businesses "take care of their teams" and focused on things such as: 

• maintaining close ties to their neighborhoods and local customers.

• giving team a greater sense of purpose at work.

• keeping team motivated. 

• recognizing team for their efforts.

• allowing team more say in decisions.
